Hubspot is an online customer relationship management tool that provides enterprise software for sales, marketing, content management, and customer service. It helps in tracking and analyzing sales performance in real-time, launching marketing campaigns, and following up with potential customers. The Hubspot App Connector manages and syncs contacts with other third-party apps.
Specifications
Before you connect your Hubspot account with Integry, you can go through some basic specifications of the Hubspot App Connector.
Authorization Type
The Hubspot app uses OAuth2 authentication. The access token in this case expires after 30 minutes. Once the access token expires, it automatically gets refreshed. When setting up an integration, you need to allow Integry to access your Hubspot account.
Trigger Type
The triggers used in Hubspot are poll based. Integry will send a request to Hubspot every 5 minutes to collect data. In case of an occurrence of selected events, a trigger will be received at Integry with the required payload. Therefore, when you set up an integration (in which Hubspot acts as a trigger application) and perform an action in Hubspot, expect a 5-minute delay for the trigger to be received at Integry.
Limitations
Here are some of the limitations of the Hubspot App Connector:
- Only the name and source of the email template can be updated inside Hubspot using the "Update Email Template" activity.
- Triggers are based on lists. A trigger for the contact object gets initiated only after being added or updated inside a list.
